Ambre is a pioneering Dramatherapist in Singapore. As someone who often found it easier and more comfortable to express herself through images, stories, colours and sound, the modality of Dramatherapy sparked curiosity and fascination.
Ambre is passionate about empowering individuals to discover their language of expression that works best for them. Ambre offers a gentle guiding presence, journeying alongside her clients to help them retrieve their compassionate selves and ignite healing within.
She believes that there is no one best approach, and no formula for a one size fits all. Her work draws on various frameworks, understandings and practices, underpinned by trauma-informed approaches. Her practice focuses on creating a relationally safe and nurturing space for exploration. It is highly collaborative, harnessing the creative and embodied processes. As someone who truly believes in the mind-body connection as well as the healing powers of somatic experiencing, Ambre is also training in Trauma-informed Relational Somatics.
An accredited Dramatherapist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council in the United Kingdom as well as a member of the Australian, New Zealand and Asian Creative Arts Therapies Association (ANZACATA) and the British Association of Dramatherapists (BADth), Ambre holds a Masters in Dramatherapy from the University of Roehampton, London. Ambre offers both individual and group therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. She has experience working with various client groups in mental healthcare, additional educational needs settings, and different community groups.
